Privacy is the default.
Proper Noun Lexicon is designed to handle sensitive terminology without collecting it. The CLI makes no network requests. The review desk performs corrections in your browser.
What stays on your device
Your approved terms, aliases, raw transcript draft, correction audit, and license token are stored in browser local storage on your device. Model-export files and audits are generated locally. We do not receive that content.
What is sent
When you buy or verify a license, your browser contacts the Sociobot billing API. It receives the license token and standard connection metadata needed to serve the request. Checkout is operated by Sociobot/Dodo as merchant of record and has its own checkout privacy notice. This site contains no analytics, tracking pixels, ad scripts, or third-party fonts.
Your controls
Export your vocabulary as CSV at any time. Remove individual terms in the review desk. To erase all locally saved workspace and license data, clear this site’s storage in your browser settings. Uninstalling the CLI removes no files you created; delete those files yourself when you no longer need them.
Offline cache
A service worker caches the application shell and original illustration so the local tools can reopen offline. It does not sync your content or contact lists.

Privacy questions can be filed in the project’s public issue tracker. Do not include private vocabulary or license tokens in an issue.
